RT Technology is an innovative technology which enables IMITREX Tablets to dissolve quickly after swallowing.* RT Technology works differently from oral disintegrating tablets, also known as melts, which dissolve on the tongue. IMITREX Tablets formulated with RT Technology are swallowed whole with water. *The relationship between dissolution and effectiveness has not been established.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. In order to ensure delivery of the intended dose, do not split tablets.

IMITREX Tablets should remain in their original package until ready for use.
